Subtle Marketing Tips for Your Brand

When you take your business to the next level it takes work and more attention to the details used in how you present your products and services.

Case in point… these lovely Thank You cards @ChristinaTorianMUA (on Instagram) asked me to create for her. She wanted to genuinely show her appreciation to her clients and leave a pleasant reminder of her services.

SUBTLE MARKETING TIP #1: Know and reference your brand colors

When creating the marketing materials necessary to spread the good news about who you are and what you do, a great tip to keep in mind is re-using your branding elements starting with your colors.

Why? It’ll help people remember you.

Each time someone comes in contact with your brand, there should be some familiar element that ties each interaction together. Color is one of those main elements.

SUBTLE MARKETING TIP #2: Use design elements relative to your brand

Nowadays, thanks to stock photography and illustration sites, it’s easy to find complimentary elements to use in putting together a strong visual.

Provided with just her logo consisting of her brand name in a dark green encased in a purple circle, I found a beautiful watercolor makeup themed file and adjusted the colors to match her brand since she’s using these cards to market her make up artistry business.
